White Sox beat Rays, close playoff deficit to 2-1
CHICAGO - Thanks to John Danks and the White Sox, Chicago still has one team standing. Danks pitched another big game to save the season and well-traveled DeWayne Wise delivered a two-run double as the White Sox beat Tampa Bay 5-3 Sunday, trimming the Rays' lead in their AL playoff series to 2-1.

Brewers avoid elimination, top Phils 4-1 in Game 3
MILWAUKEE - J.J. Hardy and the Milwaukee Brewers did just enough to keep their postseason alive for another day. Back home at Miller Park, the Brewers got three hits from Hardy and a sharp outing from Dave Bush to beat the Philadelphia Phillies 4-1 Saturday night and stave off elimination in the NL division series.

Drew's homer lifts Red Sox to 7-5 win over Angels
ANAHEIM, Calif. - J.D. Drew looked pretty feeble as he swung and missed a pair of off-speed pitches from Francisco Rodriguez. He sure didn't miss a third one. Drew hit a towering two-run homer off Rodriguez in the ninth inning, giving the Boston Red Sox a 7-5 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Friday night and a 2-0 lead in their first-round AL playoff series.
