Why

[Why] In late Northern Song, Emperor Huizong sank into the luxury enjoyment of exotic flowers and stones, court was held by traitor officials like Cai Jing. The newly risen northern Jurchen Jin, after wiping out Liao, swung the army to grand southward invasion of the Central Plains. [What] The Jin army main force drove deep to besiege Bianjing Kaifeng, and the garrison suffered a great defeat under foolish decision-making. Bianjing fell, the Jin army sacked the whole city and forcibly carried off the two emperors Huizong and Qinzong and thousands of royal clan and craftsmen northward. [Who] Emperor Huizong of Song was a foolishly depraved fallen-state son of heaven of extreme artistic talent, reduced to prisoner. Jin general Zongwang was the relentless steppe military conqueror who looted wealth ruthlessly. [How] This extreme humiliation directly caused the Northern Song regime to crumble overnight, with Central Plains prosperity commoner civilization meeting devastating blow. It forced the Han regime to tragically reborn south of the Yangtze in blood and tears.
