Deng Keng
Liang poet from Dangyang in Nanjun whose three surviving poems, including Moonlit Night in the Boudoir, are kept in the Jade Terrace anthology.
In a study at night, a desk holds a brush pot, a porcelain vase with a plum branch, a lit red lantern, a folded fan and an unrolled blank scroll, with no one seated there, while through a round window the moon rises over a lake with a sailboat.

Deng Keng came from Dangyang in Nanjun (modern Dangyang, Hubei) and was a Liang-dynasty poet; Wikisource names his father as Deng Yuanqi, and his dates are unknown. Three poems survive, Reply to Yin of Liangzhou's Miscellaneous Resentments, Harmonizing on Listening to Singing Girls at Night and Moonlit Night in the Boudoir, all in the Jade Terrace anthology, on boudoir longing and listening to music in the Liang palace style.
