Part of · Ambush from Ten Sides
The piece is usually divided into thirteen sections in three parts: sections one to five show the Han army preparing for battle, six to eight the decisive fighting, and the rest Xiang Yu's fall and the Han victory. Performers today usually stop after the tenth section, Suicide at the Wu River, and leave out sections eleven to thirteen.
