Now an official, Pei Shaojun comes to Luoyang to reclaim his wife, and after apologies they are reunited

Li Qianjin has returned to Luoyang to find her parents dead. After passing the examination Pei Shaojun seeks her out; she at first refuses, but Minister Pei and his wife apologise and the children plead for their mother, and the family is reunited. The first tune is Fendie'er.
