Huangfu Song, courtesy name Ziqi and self-styled Tanluanzi, of Xin'an in Muzhou, was a late Tang ci poet and the son of the prose writer Huangfu Shi. Neither his dates nor his career are recorded; since his father died around 835, his main activity probably fell in the mid-ninth century. Zhao Chongzuo's Huajian ji, compiled in Later Shu, includes eleven of his ci, and the Quan Tangshi preserves eighteen poems and lyrics, admired for short, limpid pieces such as Cailianzi, Meng Jiangnan and Langtaosha; he also wrote the Zuixiang riyue.
