Mural guide
In a bright hall with tall windows, a conductor on a podium raises his hands before an orchestra seated at music stands. Players in long gowns and qipao perform on erhu, pipa, ruan, flutes and sheng, with drums at the back.
Part of · Great Wall Capriccio
The fourth movement passes from an andante and a duoban section to an allegretto, a broad andante, a singing adagio and a brilliant coda. The erhu brings back the first movement's theme in varied form, and the coda restates and expands the opening theme.
