Cipher Rules
  • Build a six-digit code from 1-9. No digit may repeat.
  • After each committed code, Correct Numbers shows how many digits belong to the secret; Correct Positions shows how many are also in the right seal.
  • Every difficulty reports only those two totals; the ledger never identifies the result of an individual digit or seal.
  • Each difficulty has a fixed seal budget, countdown, and intel allowance. Running out of seals or time ends the breach.
  • Intel reveals and locks one correct position, and that revealed number-position pair stays marked in the ledger; every reveal reduces the final score.
  • Only a successful breach scores. Preserve seals, preserve time, and solve without intel for the strongest result.
How scoring works

Only a successful breach scores. Unused seals are worth 140 points each, half of every remaining second is added, a no-intel solve adds 300, and each intel reveal subtracts 120.

Harder difficulties give more points: Easy is the base score, Medium adds a modest boost, Hard adds a larger boost, and Diabolical gives the largest boost.

Running out of time or seals ends the breach with zero points.
