Rules of Engagement
- The Great Wall pass lock is secured by a unique 6-digit combination.
- Digits cannot repeat (each digit from 1-9 appears at most once, excluding 0).
- After each guess, you will see:
- • Correct Numbers: digits present in the secret code.
- • Correct Positions: digits that are correct and in the right spot.
- Complete Easy to unlock Medium, Medium to unlock Hard, and Hard to unlock Diabolical.
- Free hints depend on difficulty: Easy gives 5, Medium gives 3, Hard gives 1, and Diabolical gives none.
- Diabolical has a 10-minute countdown. If time runs out, the correct code is revealed in the attempt panel.
- Keep guessing until you find the exact code to open the gates!
How scoring works
You earn more points by opening the lock with fewer guesses and less time. Harder difficulties are worth more.
Harder difficulties give more points: Easy is the base score, Medium adds a modest boost, Hard adds a larger boost, and Diabolical gives the largest boost.
If a round ends without a win, it still gives a small share of the round score. Every finished round adds to your carried total.
