Zhu Hai
Butcher and strongman of Daliang who went with Lord Xinling to Ye and killed the Wei general Jin Bi with an iron mallet
On a moonlit night in a bamboo grove, a covered wooden bridge crosses a misty gorge with glowing lanterns hanging along it, and a small figure in a wide hat stands in the middle of the bridge; a cloak and a wine gourd hang on the railing in the foreground.
Also known as The Butcher of the Marketplace
Zhu Hai was a butcher of Daliang in Wei, a man of great strength whom Hou Ying called a worthy. Lord Xinling visited him several times, but Zhu Hai did not return the courtesy. When Xinling obtained the stolen tally and set out to relieve Handan, Zhu Hai went with him. At Ye, the general Jin Bi matched the tally but grew suspicious and balked; Zhu Hai struck him dead with a forty-jin iron mallet hidden in his sleeve, letting Xinling take command and march against Qin. He is a pivotal figure in 'Lord Xinling Steals the Tally to Save Zhao'.
