- Roles
- Empress / Consort
Lady Ru was the favourite consort of King Anxi of Wei and had free access to the king's bedchamber. Her father had been murdered, and for three years no one, the king included, could avenge him, until Lord Xinling had a retainer behead the killer and present the head to her. Grateful enough to die for him, she agreed to Hou Ying's plan when Qin besieged Handan and stole Jin Bi's military tally from the king's chamber, enabling Xinling to seize the army and save Zhao. She is the tally thief of 'Lord Xinling Steals the Tally to Save Zhao'.
