Also known as Zi Junrong

Shisun Rui, courtesy name Junrong (also given as Junce), came from a family of scholars in Fufeng and was known for his wide learning. Early in Emperor Xian's reign he was Bearer of the Golden Mace; Wang Yun then made him vice director of the secretariat, and with Wang Yun and Huang Wan he plotted to kill Dong Zhuo, writing the edict that was handed to Lü Bu. He later served as grand master of the palace and commandant of the guards. In 195, escorting the emperor east, he was killed at Dongjian in Hongnong by the troops of Li Jue and Guo Si. The court later honoured his service by making his son Shisun Meng a marquis.
