Princess Anle, personal name Guo'er, was the youngest daughter of Emperor Zhongzong of Tang and Empress Wei; her birth year of 684 is inferred. She first married Wu Chongxun, who was killed around 707, and then Wu Yanxiu. She reportedly asked to be made crown princess, which Wei Yuanzhong opposed, and built a lavish mansion and the Dingkun Pool to rival Kunming Pool. She was killed in the Tanglong coup of 710 and demoted to a rebellious commoner.
