This canon collects objects that mirror the ancient picture of the cosmos: jade bi for heaven and cong for earth, TLV mirrors mapping the four directions, oracle bones cracked to question the spirits, and silk paintings and star charts of the heavens and immortal realms. They turned the unseen order of heaven into shapes that fit in the hand.
Fitting the starry sky into gears and observing the sun through algorithms: the spatial-temporal grid system of Huaxia ancestors.
Beneath the Milky Way, on a stone terrace above a sea of clouds, stand a jade bi disc, a square jade cong, a densely patterned bronze mirror, a cracked oracle bone and a celestial globe held on dragon supports. Objects honouring Heaven and Earth evoke the ancient picture of the cosmos, read from the sky above and the land below.
