White Wares

On a woven mat by a lakeside window, a white-glazed child lies face down on a long base, head resting on folded arms with a smile, beside a plain white lidded box and two small cups, with a vase of leafy branches at the window. The pure, lustrous white glaze evokes the simplicity and gentle elegance of white wares.
