Ten Kingdoms

On a moonlit night by the lake, a scholar's table holds a large lobed celadon bowl, an inkstone, a round box and scrolls, while a folding screen behind shows a lantern-lit night banquet and incense drifts from a burner. Celadon, scholar's objects and the banquet screen evoke the refined leisure of the southern courts of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms.
