Charcoal warming pots are small pots that keep food hot at the table, much used at the Qing court and at banquets. The court had small silver warming pots, and menus of the Qianlong reign list hot-pot dishes. From the fifteenth day of the tenth month the Qing court served hotpot at every meal for about three months, and at the banquet for elders in 1796 there was hotpot on every table. Copper pots for dipping raw meat belong to Northern Chinese Hotpot, a particular warming pot is an entry, and the format of the banquet belongs to Banquets.
